Albany Leadership Charter School for Girls: Embracing a Sisterhood of Leadership

Albany Leadership Charter School for Girls is a single-gender school that serves girls 6-12 who reside throughout the Capital Region.
Through our core pillars of leadership, our girls are given the necessary tools that prepares, empower and encourages them to successfully transition to post secondary education.
At ALCS, we believe in being our sister’s keeper.
We are a 6-12 Academy of Excellence.

Leadership in SCHOLARSHIP
With commitment and dedication; our girls are able to achieve the academic, social, and emotional skills to achieve the scholarship outcomes for their future advancement within their life experiences.

Guiding Young Women to College Success:
Albany Leadership graduates young women that are prepared to enter the college of their choice. Accordingly, the ALCS college admissions process is in depth and individualized. ALCS counselors begin their work with students immediately upon entry into the school and continue through the college application process and on to graduation.
